UX/UI Design for Cybersecurity Platform
Our ongoing collaboration involved migrating various products into a unified cybersecurity suite while improving existing features. LoopStudio specialists handled the entire development lifecycle, from requirement research and ideation to continuous improvements. This partnership allowed the client’s team to concentrate on designing a competitive, user-centered cybersecurity solution.

CLIENT OVERVIEW
U.S. Based Cybersecurity Company
Their solutions strengthen cyber defense and attack capabilities, empowering clients to safeguard their operations from digital threats.

THE CHALLENGE
The client faced several challenges while expanding their product offerings in a rapidly growing market:
Consistency:
Developing a unified style guide ensures a cohesive brand experience across all products.
User Experience:
Creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces that allow seamless navigation between different tools.
Component Reusability:
Ensuring that shared components were used effectively across multiple products to avoid user confusion.
Documentation:
Providing comprehensive guidance for users to grasp the suite’s features quickly.
ADA Compliance:
Ensuring the products adhere to accessibility standards, reaching a broad and diverse audience.

Our Solution
At LoopStudio, we implemented an agile methodology with two-week sprints to ensure flexibility and alignment with the client’s needs. Here’s how we tackled the challenge:
We started by developing a new identity for the suite, ensuring that accessibility and compliance with ADA guidelines were embedded in the design.
Unified Component Library
We created a design library with reusable components that provided a consistent user experience across all products, reducing redundancies.
Design Implementation
Our team designed interfaces for profile management, settings, permissions, and more, maintaining a seamless experience across products.
With multiple designers involved, we held regular alignment meetings to ensure communication across teams. This stage was crucial in keeping all designers updated on the evolving design library.
Product Migration
Once the component library was completed, we migrated it to all the products, aligning every product with the client’s new style and functionality requirements.
HOW WE DID IT
We divided the project into six stages covering all key elements of the software development lifecycle. Here is the roadmap that helped our team turn the client’s vision into a competitive product:
PHASE 1
Team Alignment
and Initial Planning
- Assigned a designer to each product team to maintain a unified design vision.
- Held weekly alignment meetings to prevent the development of redundant or inconsistent components.
- Established guidelines for working with the shared component library across all products.
PHASE 2
Development of the
Component Library
- Updated and expanded the existing component library to align with the new suite identity and functional needs
- Collaborated closely across teams to design, review, and refine components.
- Kept teams synchronized through regular demos and communication.
PHASE 3
Integration and Product Upgrade
- Applied new components to each product, adapting them while maintaining consistency.
Worked iteratively with product teams to refine the integration and ensure a smooth user experience.
PHASE 4
Team Alignment
and Initial Planning
- Established a process where the design team stayed two sprints ahead of the development team.
- Conducted technical meetings to address deficiencies or changes.
- Presented final solutions at the start of each sprint to the development team.
PHASE 5
Usability Testing and Feedback Cycle
- Conducted usability tests on updated products to gather feedback on the user experience.
- Refined the design system based on feedback to align with user needs.
PHASE 6
Ongoing Maintenance and Communication
- Established a continuous feedback loop between design teams to address new
- Regularly updated the component library and documentation as products evolved.
- Ensured communication channels remained open to align on design principles.
THE IMPACT
Our client obtained a comprehensive library adaptable to various products.
This library continued to grow as functionalities increased and new components were added based on analysis.
Users could navigate seamlessly between products, quickly identifying and addressing threats such as identity theft, phishing, fraud, account takeovers, and data breaches at scale.
THE RESULTS
Our decision to divide the project into the stages mentioned above was primarily driven by sales considerations.
Early planning allowed us to prototype and validate features, enabling rapid progress and showcasing added value to investors and users.
